Koreatown's New Members-Only Club Hue Is Wild
코리아타운에 초호화 회원제 클럽 'Hue' 오픈

So Koreatown just got its own ultra-exclusive members club, and I had to talk about it.
It's called Club Hue, tucked inside the historic Chapman Plaza (the same courtyard as KazuNori and Quarters Korean BBQ), and it opened July 28. The people behind it: Robert Kim, the hospitality vet behind Lapaba and ABSteak, and Stuart Whang, who built Wi Spa into a K-town institution. Their director Greg Lee has worked with chefs like José Andrés and Dominique Crenn, so this isn't some random vanity project.
The whole vibe is "East meets West" — Michelin-level dinner service, a karaoke lounge that looks like something out of the Orient Express, hand-forged Japanese flatware, a mural inspired by the Han River. No laptops or phones allowed once you're inside. The exec chef, Hiroo Nagahara, is flying in rice from Japan and dry-aging his own fish and wagyu in-house.
Membership isn't cheap — starts around $7,500 plus a $3,600 annual fee, and a lifetime membership runs $120K. They're capping it at 500 members total, starting with just 150–200.
Whatever you think of the price tag, it's another sign of how much attention (and money) is pouring into Koreatown right now. Worth keeping an eye on.
Verify details directly with Club Hue — this isn't a paid feature or review, just us noting what's happening in the neighborhood.
