What happened
Las Vegas held weekly America250 fireworks in summer 2026. The shows ran every Saturday from June 6 through July 25, 2026, and each one was set to start at 9 p.m.
Each show was planned to last about eight minutes and was synced to music on KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point, and 98.9 HANK FM. July 4 was the biggest night, with fireworks launched from nine rooftops across the Strip.
Sphere’s Exosphere was also announced to carry complementary programming on Saturdays in June and July.
Schedule
The 2026 launch locations, as announced:
- June 6, 2026 — Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, and The Venetian Resort
- June 13 — MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino, and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
- June 20 — The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall, and Fremont Street Experience parking garages
- June 27 — Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
- July 4 — nine rooftops across the Strip
- July 11 — MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino, and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
- July 18 — Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
- July 25 — Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, and The Venetian Resort
Where to watch
For reference, the easiest option was to watch from pedestrian bridges or wide sidewalks near that night’s launch area. For center-Strip dates, the Caesars, Bellagio, Paris, and Venetian area made the most sense. For MGM, ARIA, and Planet Hollywood dates, the Park MGM and CityCenter area was a strong bet.
For north-Strip dates, the area around Resorts World and Sahara was the place to look. For the June 20 downtown show, Fremont Street and the area around The Plaza were the main focus.
For a less casual option, rooftop bars, patios, and pool decks generally offered a better view than standing in a crowd, though sit-down spots needed to be booked ahead.
Tips (for future fireworks nights)
- For big Strip fireworks nights, plan to get into place about 45 minutes ahead, and earlier for a holiday like July 4.
- Rideshare or taxi is usually easier than driving near host resorts.
- Bring water and a light layer if you are watching from a rooftop or pool deck.
- A radio app lets you hear a synced soundtrack.
The 2026 America250 series has wrapped up, but the viewing-spot notes above still work as a guide for future Strip fireworks nights.
