Where Does Koreatown Actually End?
Ask five people where Koreatown ends and you'll get five different answers — and both camps are kind of right, because LA Koreatown genuinely has two sets of boundaries.

The official one. In 2010, the LA City Council drew the lines: 3rd Street on the north, Olympic Boulevard on the south, Vermont Avenue on the east, Western Avenue on the west. That's the red box — compact, dense, and home to the Wilshire corridor, the plazas, and the 24-hour spots.
The real one. The Koreatown people mean when they say "let's meet in K-town" runs roughly from Beverly Boulevard down to Pico, and from Hoover Street west to Wilton Place — the purple dashed box. That's where the neighborhood actually breathes: the markets, the noraebangs, the late-night jokbal.
How Damoyuh draws it. Our directory uses the bigger box — and if a Korean-owned business sits outside both, in Gardena or Torrance or the Valley, it belongs here too. Korean isn't a zip code.
